Abians have been urged to adhere strictly to building approval plans issued by relevant government agencies in order not to distort the master plan of the state and government right of way.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Housing Engr. Nwabueze Onwuneme stated this while on an inspection tour of some ongoing individuals housing projects.
Engr Onwuneme frowned at the way some buildings are being constructed without any relevant government approval and some on government right of way. He warned builders to desist from such acts or risk having those buildings pulled down in order not to distort the on-going Governor T A Orji’s urban renewal initiative.
The Special Adviser also said that the Governor T A Orji’s led administration has put in place strict compliance measures to make sure the state does not have any issue of collapsed buildings hence failure to do so by builders will attract the full wrath of the law against such builders.
